Boys, Girls, Dramatizations, and Idiots.

Today, was considered a "fun day" at school (for who? the teachers? o.o *PFFT* yeah righttt.) It was the calm before the storm of exams (not really that big of a storm). The idea is that the grade 5-6, 7 and 8's are split into 22 groups (that were predetermined) with 7 grade 5-6 groups, 7 grade 7 groups, and 8 grade 8 groups. There were 11 different activities at different parts of the school and each activity will have 2 groups at it competing for a point also each group will go to 5 different activities. So as I was saying I was in the "puma" group (all groups named after animals) and in that group there were 4 girls and 7 boys which was less than others. Our first activity was creating a 'boat' (or boat like structure) out of cardboard then having 2 group members sit in it as it is pushed around an obstacle course by the others. The reaction on how the people of our one group acted is going to be part of this dramatization. in each of the coming posts I will run: 1. the real thing that happened (boys being dominant and girls watching) , 2. what would happen if the group was only made of boys, 3. what would have happened if the girls took a more dominant role and 4. what would happen if the group was only made of girls. Not only are these gender differences different in thinking but also in outcome. I will list the variables and ideas that take form in my mind. also my independent research and found research will be listed in the bibliography. I will try to take as short of time and be as detailed as i can but it is hard to do, takes a long time and will be at the end of my priorities list because of the exams that are going on this week. (excuse till exams are over.) If you read this I shall try to take a short time though I am a teenager (ADHD, Hormone, procrastination, etc, etc.) and it is summer. (boys, vacation, no thoughts, fun, shirtless boys, etc, etc, etc.) Will try hard. Bye

Classical conditioning, love, cologne and adolescence.

As it has come to my attention the amount of teenage boys who wear Axe Body Spray or others like that, I feel the need to point out Axe Body Spray smells like overtly chemical animal musk. Though three quarters of the boys I know slather it on like marinara sauce on a shrimp.I believe this is because on the commercials they're all like losers who no girl likes then their spraying Axe on and POW instant female recognition but is this true?
In this I will explain some of the truths about if this possible.
The truth I belief is that girls don't really like axe or cologne at first they in fact hate it but as they reach adolescence and become attracted to males (or females I don't judge but to keep it simple I will refer as a female to a male crush in which both are heterosexual) they started liking cologne because it reminds them of their crush or boyfriend (or etc.) You may say if your smart in learning "well you have some classical conditioning right there" though for those who don't know bout things like this and I paraphrase from my psychology textbook to explain what that is, " Classical conditioning is when you take An Unconditioned Stimulus (UCS) like blushing when your crush comes near you don't need to learn to do that that is called an Unconditioned Response (UCR). Now. let's say your crush is feeling really insecure so he chooses to wear a cologne to make him feel better about himself. That cologne is called a Conditioned Stimulus (CS) it announced that your crush is coming either to you or near to you or passes by that creates a connections in your brain that Cologne=Crush so whenever you smell that cologne you start to blush that is called Conditioned Response (CR). So to sum up this overtly (maybe it is maybe it isn't) complicated report I don't even need to write but feel like it is this: UCS=Crush coming near to you, UCR=Blushing, CS=Cologne and CR is blushing when you smell the cologne. Now back to my original thoughts, since you blush at the cologne on the person you like it makes it so that your feelings for the boy (love, lust, etc) get pasted to the cologne so you literally fall in love with the cologne. If the boy that you like is considered handsome and liked by lots of of girls who fall in love with him and his cologne and they keep complementing him on his scent it's only natural of everyone (who each is at least sometimes gullible) that the cologne makes girls like him when in fact they liked the boy all along but they had nothing to complement them on that sounded "romantic" but not so much that is awkward.
So that is my examination on this subject.
